It comes from the historical vineyards of the Mottura Winery, located in Italy, in the heart of Salento. Rosè wine obtained with Primitivo grapes usually harvested at the end of August, following a soft pressing of the skins, low yield in flower must and fermented without skin for ten days. Light and bright pink in colour. On the nose there are small red fruits, raspberries, marasca cherry and touches of myrtle and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is fresh harmonious fruity and is expressed with a pleasant freshness and with an extremely inviting drink, with a soft finish. It goes perfectly with aperitifs and fish and shellfish dishes.
Primitivo is the most representative and important grape of Puglia. Generally, full-bodied and opulent red wines are obtained, characterized by hints of ripe fruit, jam, berries and aromatic Mediterranean herbs. But the potential of Primitivo does not end here, in fact even in the rosé wine it allows to obtain particularly fruity and fresh wines respecting the identity notes of the grape variety.
This is thanks to an early harvest period compared to the harvest for red wine vinification and with an aging of steel only
