This red wine made in Puglia, in the area of Taranto, it takes its name from the eponymous Messapian town. It is produced from the 100% Primitivo vine species, with grapes hand-picked and hand-selected, before maceration on the skins for 10-12 days and controlled-temperature fermentation. It has a deep ruby red colour, an intense bouquet with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, mulberry, bluberry and aromatic herbs.
