Red wine produced in Puglia, in the central Salento region, an area with a great wine-making vocation, comes from the Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera di Brindisi grape varieties. The grapes are harvested when suitably ripe, to then undergo traditional maceration for 8-10 days and fermentation of the must in controlled temperatures. It has a ruby red colour, acquiring orangy-red tinges with ageing. Its bouquet is estery, rich in ripe fruit.
